Thinking About Planning a Small Wedding?

Planning a small wedding has a lot of advantages that a large wedding would miss out on. if you wanted a small wedding for example, with just close friends and close relatives it would be a lot more intimate than sharing the day with everyone. You would be able to spend your time with those you love and care for instead of catering to your guests needs.
if you wanted to plan a small wedding and don't want to spend a lot of money doing it, you still have many choices that would be just as great as if you had a lot of money to spend. Here are some possibilities for where your ceremony could take place. You might want it to be in your own home or maybe someone you know has a wonderful garden or backyard big enough to hold a small wedding. You might want it in a park or at your local Mission. Those are some possibilities for an inexpensive place to wed.

The next thing to consider is places to hold your reception. This will depend on how many people will attend the reception. If your going to keep this small also, then you might want to think about having it at the same place as your wedding. You can have food catered or made right there in the home and have a buffet table inside then take your plates outside to eat. Parks are a good place to hold the reception, you can have music and food and dancing as well provided the weather is still nice.

The main thing about small weddings and not having a lot of money to spend is that you can spend the money on the things that are most important. For instance, Instead of spending the money on the menu and drinks, and the music, you will be able to spend the money on a photographer.

You want what will last the longest in remembering this day, and photographs and videos are what you want to spend the money on. You want to remember the guests at the wedding and the fun your having and what everyone was wearing, especially the bride in the wedding gown and the groom in his tux.
